I love, love, love these glass trays and cups. My client has a whole collection and showed them to me when we were planning this party. She gave me the hot tip of looking at thriftstores. I went right away to my local thriftstore and hit the jackpot, tons of them in four different styles. Plus I got them for a steal. Aren’t they so pretty? I showed my new collection of trays and cups to my mom and she remembers back in the day when they used to use these at luncheons. Unfortunately I think they’ve been replaced by disposable paper plates and cups at parties but I think it’s time for a comeback. What do you say?

I too agree that we need to "make a comeback" of a lot of traditions…..there are way too many disposable items in today’s world….I love having real dishes at my parties vs. paper and plastic. Sometimes they can be an initial investment, but being able to use them again and again is where the cost factor lessens. I’m a big fan of white dishes for a simple look and colorful Fiestaware when you want splashes of color.
I love your blog, your styling and your photography! Can you post any hints/tips on how you achieve such magazine-worthy shots? Thanks!
those cups are so sweet, especially with the pink lemonade!
I recieved a set for christmas and I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE them!
Canuemagine: I KNOW! I love them. I keep buying more every time I spot them.
