pioneer 30game
American Girl Party. Oh, pioneer games. I think we tend to forget the old standbys that our parents’ used at our parties. But kids now-a-days can still love the games we used to play, just give them a chance. Here’s a game we played at this party: The Clothes Pin Drop. (I tracked down the old style clothes pins and some jars.) Stand up straight and hold the clothes pin to your nose. Drop the pin from you nose and try to get it into the jar. I had three different sized jars so it was easy and challenging.

But don’t forget other classics that also work great as impromptu time fillers like Duck Duck Goose, I Had a Little Doggie, London Bridges, Ring Around the Rosies, Simon Says, Musical Chairs, Stuck in the Mud and Freeze Tag.

  1. Gosh ~~~ all those games bring back such great memories and fun from my childhood. When my daughter was in elementary school, we played a lot of those games at all the holiday parties.
