My husband actually teaches the local Wilton cake classes around here. he is NOT your conventional teacher for sure. They've changed up their course offerings now, and they include more cupcake ideas and stuff, which is way more current. The books don't look like they're from 1974 anymore either, bonus! but he's always kind of wondered why so many people want to learn to make THAT many flowers...i mean, who really uses them? (aside from the grocery store decorator I guess) This whole blog entry makes me laugh.
