This week I’m going to post about some of the things I use and love for parties. And then you get to choose your own giveaway prize.
Day 5: children’s cloth napkins. You might recognize these napkins from a lot of the pictures I’ve posted lately: here on the blog, on guest posts, and in my newsletter. I ordered these blue napkins with red ric rack trim from Kate Landers Events. I thought they would be cute as just napkins, next to some plates with fork laying on top. You know, typical. But I ended up using them in a bunch of photos to add a pop of color or as an accent. My photographer, Nicole Gerulat, finally had to tell me to maybe use something else in the pictures for a little variety. I knew she was right, but I still couldn’t resist reaching for them to add as a prop.

These are too adorable! I love ric rack and have been gathering napkins because it reduces waste incredibly, as anyone who’s seen kids under five use paper anything would know. Too cute!
