And now for the Monster Party finale, we’ll show you how to set a table even a monster would love. It’s affordable, easy and kid friendly.
To make the monster centerpiece: Buy or make a paper pom pom out of tissue paper. Cut a piece of 12″x12″ light blue cardstock paper to fit a 6″x6″ vase. Glue eye balls to the bottom of the paper (see photo). Add the cut card stock paper to all four sides of the vase and then place the pom pom inside. Fluff the pom pom to perfection!
To make the placemats: Trim a roll of wrapping paper to size. Easy Peasy.
Everything else: Glue big plastic eyes onto oranges; tie green polka-dot balloons to chairs; make homemade napkins from linen fabric.
We’re so excited to have one of the sweetest event planners Eden Passante as a guest contributor this week. Visit her on her own blog, Sugar and Charm. Photos by Zan Passante.

Love the Monster Party idea! I am going to do it for my son’s first birthday and just wondering where you got the monster cookie cutters – i cant find them anywhere. Thanks!
Hi Diane–I think Eden drew a monster on a piece of paper and then traced around it onto the sugar cookie dough. No cookie cutters. xo
