  8. Hi Janel–I don’t have a specific recipe for that cake. You can make whatever kind you’d like inside. Good luck with the party! -B

  9. Just wondering if the invites to this superhero party are in format that they can be typed on and then printed out. Don’t want to have to write on all of them:). Thanks.

  10. Hi Deanna–They are not currently in a format that allows that. Some people have worked around that, but I’m not sure what advice to give you about that. You can order invites from Brightside Prints: xo B

  11. Superhero parties are popular with boys, but don’t forget the girls – many girls also identify with Superwoman and other heros. If you rent a superhero look-alike costume or invite a hero-look-alike, be sure that you know how your child may react to them some of them may be scared and if you plan to bring a hero – you may begin to talk to your child about what to expect in advance to ease anxiety.

[…] Of course, I’m not creative enough to have had all of these ideas on my own. The cake was inspired by one I saw on Pinterest (unfortunately, I can’t find the original source for this photo!) The decor for the streamers I found via Annie’s Eats (as well as the fruit kabobs!) and we made the DIY topper, but it was inspired by a photo by One Charming Party.
