There’s nothing like seeing the sites whey you go to the Big Apple. Whether you’re walking, taking a taxi, or riding the subway there is always someplace to explore. And you can’t miss this famous New York City landmark while you’re there: The Statue of Liberty. For our party she stands proudly atop a 4″ personal sized “smash cake” that’s just the right size for the birthday boy. To make your own Statue of Liberty cake topper, just clip the torch off with some wire cutters. Then hot glue a birthday candle in its place. Now make a wish!

The details seriously make the party. Who wouldn’t want the stature of liberty to hold their candle?? And the newspaper background. Very clever.
This is a pretty neat idea for a cake decor! Thanks for sharing! ♥
As someone who will soon be leaving the Big Apple, I’m loving this idea & will be saving it for sometime we’re feeling homesick!

[...] Picnics– the perfect party for all ages. Throw a picnic for the next little kid birthday party you host; picnics are ideal for large groups, are relatively pain-free to clean up, and allow you to eat all those messy finger foods that would wreck havoc on your living room. Bring toys to accessorize your blankets or let the kids use their actual imaginations! Image via One Charming Party [...]
