When life hands you lemons…make a lemonade stand! Keep the kids busy this summer by baking and selling some summer sweets. Here’s a quick overview of our simple lemonade stand to get you started–and some free printables that you can use for your own stand. More details tomorrow and Thursday.

To make your own sign:
1. Download and print out the “Fresh Lemonade” sign onto an 8 1/2 x 11″ piece of white paper in black ink.
2. Take the sign to a copy store and have them enlarge it on a black and white copy machine (it only costs a few dollars). Glue the sign onto a poster board and let dry.
3. Let your kids color in the sign.

Printables included:
“Fresh Lemonade” sign
treats & sweets sign
cookie labels
employee rules sign

  9. Hi Jazz–Hhhm. You can make your own simple syrup with lemon juice and sugar, then just add water. That lemonade is from a frozen concentrate, my favorite “recipe” :)

  10. Hi Sarah–We’d love to see it! xo

  11. Brittany, that “recipe” sounds so simple! I wish I could make some right now, but I’ll have to wait and get my hands on some lemon juice first. Mmm!

  12. Brittany & Jazz:

For the best lemonade, make a simple syrup of equal parts water + sugar.

Start your mix with fresh lemon juice, add water (or fizzy water!!!) and add simple syrup until you get the tart or sweet flavor you like.

Seriously, try it with soda water. It’s amazing.
