Vacation is over and it’s back to school time! I was recently introduced to these fun wax colored pencils called Unravels. These are so much cooler than the colored pencils I had as a kid. No need to sharpen, you just peel away the strips which have fun messages and jokes on them. Since I loved these pencils so much, I asked one of the sweeties at Unravels if she could donate some for our giveaway this week. She said yes so I have 2 packs of 6 these awesome pencils for our winner.

colored pencils unravels

To find out more about Unravels, you can check out their Facebook page. You can purchase the pencils online at Perpetual Kid or in stores at Justice, Claire’s, Michael’s Craft, Five Below and others.

  17. Love them! All of the photos of kids that have used Unravels for their creative projects are adorable. The best added bonus is definitely the strip of paper that they can read afterward…I can foresee a project being completed with that paper – maybe a little bit of a basket weave or filling for a gift box. Thank you for sharing!

  224. These brought back a distant memory from more than 45 years ago. As a child, probably about 7 at the time, I went to a classmates birthday party. It was an amazing day, she was Japanese, their home had many traditional features, the food was totally different and she and her mum wore kimonos. I clearly remember being given coloured pencils that unravelled just like this as a parting gift. I had never seen anything like them again until now. A lovely trip down memory lane! I will just have to make an international purchase!
