I first saw this lollipop stand tutorial on Martha Stewart (you can see the original directions here). I think lollipops in Halloween colors are the perfect addition to this treat table.
Supplies: 18 inch styrofoam cone, 1 spool of matte black ribbon and 1 spool of satin black ribbon, taper runner or double sided tape, scissors, lollipops.
Directions: Starting at the top, measure and cut a piece of ribbon to wrap around the cone once. Put a little bit of taper runner (used for scrapbooking projects) or double sided tape on the end of the ribbon. Wrap the cone at a slight angle with the ribbon and secure it with the sticky side of the ribbon to keep it in place. Repeat wrapping the cone with ribbon, alternating matte and satin finish ribbons to create a striped effect. Let the ribbons overlap a tiny bit, but so that you can still tuck a sucker in between the ribbon. Carefully stick lollipops into the styrofoam cone, in between the ribbon. As you add lollipops, the cone might get heavier on one side. Add more lollipops than you’ll need and keep them evenly distributed to keep the cone from falling over.

I love this will be sharing this on my site for referral. Love coming upon sites with such great ideas…..
AWESOME!!!!
Perfect for any class party…I think I will attach the base of the cone to round painted platter so it looks like a witch hat
I love this idea – if you put it on a black platter or plate it would definitely look like a witche’s hat – very fun!
thank you for sharing…love this idea! would not have thought to use the yellow but very cute!
Really cute!
Love this stand!! It’s adorable!! I’m pinning this.
Love this. I made it one year for a Halloween Party as one of the games. The kids would pull out a lolli and regardless they won a lolli pop for their treat bag but I had colored some of the ends with a marker. If they pulled out theirs and it had a colored end, they won a trinket from the prize box.
This is super cute. You could also add a black circle under the cone and make it look like a witches hat for Halloween. I think that would be pretty cool.
