Wow, February has gone by rather quickly and I feel so behind. I definitely have a few things to catch you up on. One Charming Party has recently been featured in the Costco Connection Magazine and in Yum Magazine. Season 2 of My Craft Channel is in full swing–I hope you’ve been tuning in to the newest episodes. And I’ve been working behind the scenes for the upcoming SNAP Conference. Tickets are still available and I’ll be posting the event track speaker’s list soon.
I just got back from a week long trip to San Francisco where I visited Miette for the first time. If you’ve never heard of it, it is a charming and yummy bakery full of perfect little cakes, candies and macarons. Everything that I tried was delicious (I went there 3 times). It reminds me of Magnolia Bakery in New York City or The Sweet Tooth Fairy here in Utah–two other delicious and quaint little places to visit. Ohhh, and I just bought this beehive cake stand–it’s bigger than it looks and I already love it as a new fave.
I guess I have baking on the brain these days which is understandable. This leads me to some big news. In case you haven’t heard, the adorable baking and party supply shop Bake it Pretty is now a part of the One Charming Party family. I’m the new owner and I’ve been completely delighted and distracted the past 2 weeks with owning a new online business. The store was closed while we got everything switched over, but it’s re-opening tomorrow! Hooray! Please indulge me as I tell the former owner Amanda how grateful I am that she has entrusted me with her wonderful shop. She has done an amazing job with Bake it Pretty and I’m so excited to continue it. Amanda is still around doing awesome stuff and you can visit her now at Sweet as the Punch. Have a great week!

Definitely curious as to why this change happened! (I came by a few weeks ago and noticed the shop was down.) We have purchased many molds from bake it pretty…hope you guys will get more up soon.
