Everyone knows summer crafts for kids are a great way to pass the time. Celebrate sunny days by making this dangling sun mobile.
Poke a hole in the top of a mini paper plate and tie on a yarn loop for hanging. Decorate the back side of your plate with orange and yellow tissue paper squares. Cut yellow construction paper into long, 1-inch strips and glue ends together to form eight loops. Glue the loops around the perimeter of your decorated paper plate.

To give your mobile a finished look, cover the backside of another plate with glue and press onto the back of your sun plate, covering the glued ends of the construction paper strips and your yarn knot.

This sun is adorable! I intend to share it with my daughter’s preschool teachers. They will love it!
Too cute! I love how colorful, yet not too complicated this is. Definitely breaking this idea out the next time I teach.
Thank you so much for this adorable tutorial!
