Our list of Charming Party Basics just wouldn’t be complete without the perfect plastic party cups. You might be wondering how we could possibly argue that disposable partyware is charming, and while we’d normally agree, these clear tumblers are the exception. Their minimalist design is completely neutral, working seamlessly into a formal or informal partyscape and making them our favorite party cup.
These tumblers are kid friendly: convenient, sturdy and their low profile makes them nearly impossible to knock over. Plus they can be more than cups — think jello boats, mini trifles and parfait bowls. Available at grocery stores and party supply shops. We find the 9-ounce size to be the most versatile.

Great idea – I wondered what made them so special and different from normal plastic cups at first, but the fact they’re hard to knock over makes them a real winner! The amount of drink spilled at parties… oh the horror!

The 9 oz is my most favourite one too – I love those things! So versatile – they even fit in my vintage cheese box in a row of 3 perfectly so I can grow Easter grass in them without all the mess.
