Pass out cute and yummy holiday treats to your neighbors this year! Making a Donut Wreath is a kid friendly project (and a fun family tradition).

You will need: plain, unglazed cake donuts; glaze frosting; sprinkles, candies, decorations, etc.; 4 inch by 5 1/2 inch glassine bag; bag topper download (see below)

GLAZE RECIPE

1 cup powdered sugar
2 teaspoons corn syrup
2 teaspoons milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl.

Call your local bakery or donut shop and request plain cake donuts (no glaze). Or bake your own. We used the Wilton donut pan and recipe provided with the pan. Make the glaze and tint green with food coloring. Dip your donuts in the glaze. Place the donuts on a cooling rack to let the extra glaze drip off.

While the glaze is still wet, sprinkle with green sugar or sprinkles. Decorate with any other candies.

Once the donut glaze has dried, package your little holiday wreathes into glassine bags. Print out the bag topper and staple to the top of your bag.
