At a Ninja birthday party it’s a good idea to watch out for flying stars — looks like a few have hit our cupcakes! Inspired by the throwing stars on this Ninja Party Invitation we created these fun, origami cupcake toppers.

TO MAKE: Cut 5-inch squares from thin kraft paper. You will need two squares per star. Following this tutorial fold into an origami throwing star. Place the stars into cupcakes, making them look a bit haphazard like they were “thrown” in. Complete the look by hanging a simple knit garland made using this tutorial from nothing but a t-shirt!
