Throw an impromptu Halloween party for all the kid’s in the neighborhood with these festive popcorn bowls to kick off a night of trick-or-treating. They’re really easy to make and you will only need a few supplies. You can even get the kids involved and let them decorate their own, with precut construction paper pieces so you don’t have to worry about tiny hands getting cut up with scissors.

Supplies: orange paper treat tubs, scissors, black construction paper, glue stick, marker or pen

Direction: Start by drawing various Halloween shapes on a piece of black construction paper, like bats, ghosts, jack-o-lantern faces, etc. You can freehand this part or print out clip art and trace the silhouettes onto paper. Then cut out the shapes with scissors and glue them to the containers. Be sure to press down firmly on the cut outs for 15-30 seconds to make sure the paper lays down flat against the bowls. Fill with popcorn or candy and you are ready to serve.

[…] In the spirit of Halloween, I couldn’t just stick to one topic for Hallowen. I’ve never really been so much a person to dress up for Halloween but I must say, I love a good spook of a movie and a scary story. Flashlight in the face, bundled under the covers and squealing at every scary and not scary moment are memories to remember. (Photo source: One Charming Party) […]
