Add a little bit of flair to party drinks for Halloween with this cool craft project that doubles as a fun surprise in a child’s lunch box. Bonus! You can make these spook-tacular silhouette straws in about 5 minutes. How’s that for quick and easy?

You will need: black and white chevron paper straws, construction paper (in various Halloween colors), scissors, glue stick or glue gun

Directions: Start by drawing Halloween shapes on a piece of construction paper. Try a bat, cat, and witch hat. If you don’t feel comfortable freehanding the drawings, you can use clip art or a small cookie cutter, like this one, for tracing. Cut out the shapes with scissors. Then glue the shapes onto paper straws, about two inches down from the top of the straw. Wait for it to dry and you have a set of Halloween straws perfect for your next party or kid’s lunch boxes (with a milk or juice box) to get them excited about trick-or-treating.
