When going tailgating you don’t always get to leave the children at home. These football party games for kids will get the little ones, fans or not, excited to watch the big game.

Download the game pieces by clicking on the image below. Print and cut out the boards then mount them onto a piece of 6-1/4″x4-1/4″ cardstock. Choose a team color when picking out the cardstock.

Let the kids play Tic Tac Bingo while watching the football game. Everytime a play or event happens that is on their game card, they get the place a marker on the square. Once they get three in a row, they  call “bingo” and win a prize!

Cheer for the home team! Let the kids get creative during half time decorating football jersey cookies in your favorite team’s colors.

Roll out cookie dough to the desired thickness. Instead of using a cookie cutter, trace the jersey with a knife. You can download the jersey template by clicking the download image below.

Cook the cookies according to your recipes directions. Gather up cookie decorations, candies, frosting and sprinkles that match your team’s colors. Once the cookies have cooked and cooled, let the kids frost and decorate to their heart’s content.

No football game would be complete without a #1 foam finger. Make these easy diy foam fingers for kid sized hands. And as a bonus, they can decorate these themselves.

Download the #1 foam finger template by clicking on the download link below. Print onto a standard size 8-1/2″x11″ piece of paper and cut out the template. Using 2 pieces of 12×18″ craft foam (found at a local Michael’s Craft Store) cut out two of the #1 foam finger templates. Use a hot glue gun to glue the two pieces together around the edges, everywhere except the bottom of the hand. This is intended to fit a child’s hand.

Now you can pass the foam finger to the kids to decorate. You can use either permanant or washable markers. To make the white #1 design, use a white oil based Sharpie paint pen.
