Make an easy princess birthday cake and quickly personalize it with these custom-printed party circles. Hot glue the circle decorations to barbecue skewers and arrange in cake as desired. Accent with mini pipe cleaner hearts, attached to the skewers as you did for the princess wands.

It’s a princess party so of course you need crowns for each of the guests. Inexpensive pipe cleaners perfectly mimic the hand-drawn look of the crowns on these whimsical princess invitations. Ta da! A pipe cleaner princess crown and wand.

TO MAKE THE CROWN: Each crown requires approximately 10 pipe cleaners. Shape each of the pieces shown below from its own pipe cleaner, trimming as needed. Twist each of the pieces together to secure and create the crown shape.

TO MAKE THE WAND: Each wand requires one pipe cleaner and a wooden dowel. Create a simple heart shape and twist the ends around the tip of the dowel. Secure with hot glue.

Watercolor is a definite favorite when crafting during the Spring and Summer. The color possibilities are endless and no skill is required — that’s our kind of project. This watercolor invitation diy is so easy to do, but even more fun to receive! If you are having any kind of gathering this month, skip the store-bought invites and paint your own.

You will need: assorted watercolor paints, paintbrush, paper, triangular-paper punch, letter stamps, ink pad

Directions: Cover each sheet of paper with your choice of watercolor and let dry. Feel free to mix colors. Make a sheet of warm colors and a sheet of cool colors if you like.

Using your paper punch, punch out small pieces of paper in different sections of the painted areas. A triangular-shaped paper punch makes the invite look like a mini-bunting. A giant circle punch could be super fun as well.

Take your stamps and stamp the letters to the word “party” using one stamp at a time. If you want to put more information, cut out more shapes. Write the small details like when, where, and who on the other pieces of confetti.

Stuff the pieces of confetti in an envelope and send them on their merry way. Your friends will be thrilled to receive this colorful mail!

One smart cookie teacher gift. We are all grateful when our kids come home from a day at school with new facts or a math problem to show us — because in the end we all have a smart cookie of a child. Show your appreciation for the teachers that are helping your smart cookie learn with a package full of cookies!

You will need: 6 inch square paper, 6 inch square parchment paper, smart cookie printable (see download button below), sticker paper, cookies

Directions: First, print out the smart cookie labels on sticker paper. Cut out the labels and set aside. Stack a square piece of parchment paper on top of a square piece of paper. Place a cookie on the parchment paper and fold the corners into the middle. Take the smart cookie label and stick it onto your wrapped cookie to hold the paper and parchment paper in place. You can also use washi tape to hold the paper closed if you are giving more than one wrapped cookie to a teacher.

This is sure to be a gift to make the teacher smile as well as enjoy. Thanks for making me one smart cookie!

There isn’t much that is better than fresh ripe berries, except for fresh ripe berries packaged in a little berry basket with a cute note attached. Since school is almost out for the summer, give those dear school teachers the berry best teacher gifts this year — cute little baskets full of appreciation!

You will need: pint sized wooden berry basket , crepe streamer or miniature cupcake liners, berry best 2 inch circle printable, tacky glue

First, print the “Berry Best” labels. Cut the labels out with a 2 inch circle punch. On the back of the 2 inch circles, glue a flattened miniature cupcake liner or some gathered crepe streamer to create a beautiful badge. Once dry, glue the badge on to your wooden berry basket. Fill your wooden baskets will berries for a delicious treat any teacher is sure to enjoy!

Make a playful gumball garland for birthday parties and other (kid-friendly) occasions. Kids will love turning this into a party game, as they attempt to eat the gumballs right off of the garland string. Or you can keep the garlands intact until the party is over and eat them later.

You will need: medium-sized gumballs (about 1 inch), colorful string, a large needle (I used a knitting needle), tape, scissors, something to poke holes into the gumballs (I used an awl)

Directions: Separate gumballs by color in different bowls. Begin poking holes all the way through each gumball, using an awl or other sharp tool. You’ll want to take your time and be gentle when poking the holes, so that the gumballs don’t crack or break. Set aside. The desired length of your garland will determine how many gumballs you need to complete this project. Next, wrap a small piece of tape around the edge of the string to keep the threads together and compact, so you can thread your needle. Once you have the string through the eye of the needle, cut off the bit of tape on the end of the string. Begin threading the string through the pre-holed gumballs until you reach the desired length. Knot the ends, so the gumballs don’t slide off the string, and your gumball garland is ready to hang!
