Happy Thanksgiving! We have FREE printable Thanksgiving placecards for you. They pair nicely with our Colorful Thanksgiving. There are 6 cards, each says “thank you” in a different language. Fold in the middle and write your guest’s name on the front AND the back… which can be really helpful if you have a gathering where not everyone knows each other. Enjoy!

Thanksgiving is never complete without corn on the table. This year, make it a little more exciting by making a corn stalk out of chocolate.

You will need: 4″ x 4″ sheets of yellow tissue paper, 2″ x 3/4″ strips of green tissue paper, 6″ long pieces of floral wire, floral tape, Hershey Kisses

DIRECTIONS: Make the Cornstalk
Stack two Hershey kisses together to make the corncob. Wrap the kisses with a 4 inch square sheet of tissue paper. Wrap the floral tape around the tissue paper. Cut the ends of the green tissue paper strips into points to resemble the leaves on a cornstalk.

Add the leaves to the bottom of the tissue corn, along with a piece of wire, and continue to wrap the floral wire around. Continue to wrap the floral wire around until you have covered all the tissue paper. Do the same thing again to make two corncobs.

Take both of your corncobs and wrap the remaining wire together. Wrap the floral tape around the wire to connect the two corncobs. Add additional leaves down the stalk if you want.

DIRECTIONS: Make the Name Banner
Download and print out the nameplace banners. Wrap the ends of the banner around a paper straw or 1/4 inch pole. Slide the straw out of the wrapped up paper to create a nice little ringlet. Repeat on the other side of the banner.

Waiting for Thanksgiving dinner is always the hardest part of the day. Keep the kids entertained by writing stories with pictures on these Pictograph Placemats. Print the printables provided onto regular 8-1/2″ x 11″ paper. Give the kids the blank placemat and the Native American Pictograph card. The kids can use the pictographs on the card, or come up with their own pictures, to write out their wild west stories.
