Festively wrapped popcorn balls are the perfect party favor for a Halloween Carnival. We used this recipe for the easiest popcorn balls ever, and packaged them up like old-fashioned candy.
TO MAKE: You will need one batch of caramel popcorn shaped into balls. Let cool and harden. Trim the bottom seam off of regular, clear-plastic party favor bags. Slip popcorn ball into the center of the bag and twist-tie both ends shut. Finish by tying on several decorative ribbons.
Be sure to capture all the spooks and skeletons that haunt your festivities with this fun Halloween Carnival photo booth. Interestingly, our ghosts really did show up in pictures!
TO MAKE A PHOTO BOOTH: Get several yards of a neutral colored fabric and affix to a wall with painter’s tape. Use orange and black streamers to add carnival-inspired stripes to the background. Decorate an over-turned, galvanized-metal tub to look like an elephant stand from the circus. Cut triangles of orange and black paper then tape on with painter’s tape. Go here to see how to make the ghost’s eerie Trick-or-Treating lantern.
How cute are these Halloween Carnival cupcakes decked out with a circus-tent inspired flag? They are just begging to be given away in a Cake Walk, or simply serve to satisfy your guest’s sweet tooth.
TO MAKE: Download and print our cupcake flags template. Cut flags down to size then glue a polka dot to a stripe flag with wrong sides together. Cut an inverted V shape on both ends then wrap around a toothpick and secure with a glue dot. Don’t forget the sprinkles! We use white sugar pearls along with black nonpareils and orange nonpareils.
