TO MAKE: A full set consists of 21 finished chimes and requires two, 10-foot lengths of half-inch electric conduit pipe. Mark and cut pipe according to the template. The pipe can be cut with either a tubing cutter or miter saw fitted with a blade for cutting metal. Smooth rough edges with a file and drill holes 1.5-inches from the top of the pipe for threading a suspension string. Print, cut and apply our free chime labels. For more complete instructions download the DIY Pipe Chime Template. If you’re not up for a big project, purchase a set of pipe chimes here.
