We used fresh rosemary that we snipped off a bush in our backyard. There is a secret to quickly removing rosemary leaves from their stem. After washing and drying, pinch the stem between your fingers and run down the wooden stem, going against the direction of growth — the rosemary leaves should pop right off.
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-low heat in saucepan. Add 3 cloves pressed garlic and a teaspoon of rosemary leaves then sauté for about a minute. Pop 1/3 cup of popcorn kernels using your preferred method. Add salt and pepper to olive oil mixture then pour over popcorn. Gently toss until evenly coated. Serve warm.
